Abstract

Production is an activity to transform a raw material into finished good. There are three types of production, Job Shop Production, Batch Production and Mass Production. It Needs Quantative approach to measure of performance of each type of production. This paper describes the concept of manufacturing lead time, production rate, and also brief effort to improve efficiency of such performances .
